Customs target 50,000 students with learning materials

The Nigeria Customs Service has announced plans to distribute educational materials to at least 50,000 students across the country as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.
This move is aimed at improving access to quality education for children in underserved communities. The materials, which include textbooks, writing tools, and school bags, will be distributed in phases, targeting primary and secondary school students.
According to Customs spokesperson, the initiative is designed to complement government efforts in enhancing education and to reduce the burden on struggling families.
The Comptroller-General emphasized that education remains a powerful tool for national development, and Customs is committed to playing its part in building the nation’s future through strategic support for learning.
