President Bola Tinubu has conferred the National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) on all 24 players of the Super Falcons, recognizing their outstanding achievements and dedication to the nation.
In addition to the prestigious awards, each player will receive a fully furnished 3-bedroom apartment and a cash prize of $100,000.
Members of the team’s Technical Committee are also being rewarded, with each member set to receive $50,000 in appreciation of their support and efforts.
This grand gesture marks one of the most generous rewards ever given to Nigeria’s female national football team.
