The Ekiti State Government has issued a travel advisory to motorists and commuters heading to Ado-Ekiti, urging them to make use of alternative routes due to ongoing road challenges in the state.
In a statement, the government explained that heavy traffic congestion and poor road conditions on some major highways necessitated the advisory. Alternative routes have been mapped out to ease movement and ensure the safety of travelers.
The government also assured residents that repair works are being expedited on critical roads, while security agencies have been deployed along the alternative routes to provide safety and support for road users.
It further appealed to motorists to exercise patience and obey traffic officials while the situation is being addressed.
